In addition to the James Family, hanging out in scenic Las Vegas, both Ruth and I have some other folks we are related to and love. Let's talk about my side of the family for a minute. For instance, pictured above is my brother, Larry Lang(on the left) and my cousing Lee Levine. Both of them are fathers now - and somehow that's an astounding fact to me.
Pictured here, sitting on the swing in the backyard of their Pennsylvania home, are Elaine (Larry's wife) and Marni (their daughter). One of these days I figure we will come up with some way to introduce Marni to the James Gang - I just don't quite know how we will explain the relationship! Marni's my niece - what does that make her to my grandchildren?
Oh well....cousins is a good enough term for now.
I have a feeling that there is something in common with the Lang boys (Larry and I) - we love to see people laughing! And in the case of family, we both especially love to see the kids laughing. In this shot, either Larry or I did something that resulted in Elaine and Marnie cracking up.
