A Landmark Project, Bras for the Needy, and Who One has to be to Make a Difference

Oz du Soleil created a pretty incredible project in his Landmark self-expression and leadership program – he created an organization, support 1000, to collect bras for women in need all over the world. Although the name of the organization was based on how many bras he hoped to collect, he has quadrupled his target by collecting 4,000 bras, which he has distributed to a wide array of organizations which serve women in need, such as St. Taylor’s wrap-around and the Imagine Me Foundation. Recently, he has sent bras to underprivileged women in Kenya.
Du Soleil acknowledges that it is an unusual project which he has undertaken – in this interview he articulates why it’s important to him and what it takes individually to stop being modest and be someone who steps up and makes a difference in the community.
